On April 13th, the Rosa Khutor resort concluded its winter season of 2024/25. It had opened on December 1st, with the ski slopes becoming operational on December 20th. The past snowfalls and low temperatures ensured high-quality ski conditions throughout the entire period. Vacationers were able to enjoy all the advantages of the resort's ski infrastructure daily. Rosa Khutor boasts the most extensive ski area: 105 km of slopes, 52 ski runs of all difficulty levels, 32 lifts, training slopes, and snow parks. Creating just one of these – for the New Star Camp festival – required 100,000 cubic meters of snow this season. In addition to 70 exclusive jibbing features for riders in the snow park, the largest ski jump in Russia was built, hosting national freestyle championships.

This season, guests of Rosa Khutor once again actively used the services of the resort's Ski School, with nearly 40,000 people receiving instruction. The "Sunrise on the Slope" program remained the most popular, offering the chance to be the first to greet the sun in the mountains and enjoy skiing on fresh corduroy. In the "Yegorka" children's ski club, the "Champions School" was a hit. Instructors from the resort's Ski School also conducted over 1,500 hours of classes in the therapeutic sports program "League of Dreams," which provides comprehensive alternative rehabilitation for people with disabilities through alpine skiing.

The resort's new artificial intelligence-based product, the Yeti Coach (Yeti.Coach) service, generated significant guest interest. This marks a kind of revolution in ski instruction. Five Ultra HD cameras installed on the slope record every movement of the skier. Personalized videos and recommendations can be obtained by entering the ski pass number on the rosa.yeti.coach website. The system helps track skiing progress throughout the season and allows users to compete with others. Thanks to high-precision neural network analysis, skiers can see their technique from the side and receive feedback with recommendations for improvement. During the 2024/25 season, over 3,000 people used this service on the "Nagano" slope.

Children's ski competitions for the "Khutorenok" Cup were held weekly at the resort. These are the only amateur alpine skiing and snowboarding competitions in Sochi. This season, over a thousand children participated, including 582 boys and 489 girls. Almost all of them preferred alpine skiing to snowboarding, and the vast majority came to the resort for vacation from Moscow.

To manage guest flow on the cable cars this ski season, the resort implemented comprehensive solutions: volunteer assistance, special mobile applications, and a fast-track tariff – Priority – for lift access without waiting, launched for the first time.

As noted by Ruslan Sabirov, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of the Rosa Khutor mountain resort: "We continue to use advanced technologies in our work. This is a very interesting experience not only for us but also for the tourism industry as a whole. Last year, Rosa Khutor was the first in the world to test predictive models for forecasting queues at resort lifts, and this season we successfully tested a new learning service for skiers - Yeti Coach. In the future, we will continue to work in this direction."

During the winter season, the Rosa Khutor resort also offered guests exciting après-ski activities. The "Pacha Mama" Alpaca Park was very popular. It is located at an altitude of 1100 meters, where a special area with stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains has been created for the inhabitants of the Peruvian Andes. This is the largest nursery of these animals in Russia. Guests also enjoy interacting with sled dogs at Husky Khutor and reindeer at the Deer Farm. Additionally, every fourth guest of the resort rode the rodelbahn attraction. Extreme entertainment on Rosa Peak – high-altitude bridges and swings – remains in demand.

Over the course of the season, the resort hosted 45 events of various scales, involving nearly 40,000 people. Among these, the major sports and music festivals RosaFest (January 25th – February 2nd) and New Star Camp (March 24th – 30th), as well as the national freestyle competitions, stand out.

In the winter season 2024/2025, the trend of increasing foreign tourist flow to the resort continued. Approximately 1,300 foreigners stayed at Rosa Khutor hotels, which is 10% more than the results for the same period last year. The main guests were representatives from the CIS countries (66%), Europe (14%), the Near Abroad (10%), and China (5%). These results were achieved due to a 10% increase in the number of guests from CIS countries during the New Year holidays, as well as the growing trend of year-round vacations for tourists from the Persian Gulf countries at Rosa Khutor. It is also important to note that over 30 guests from Israel visited the resort during the winter season, indicating that the tour operator community in this country is exploring the possibility of resuming large-scale vacation programs in the mountains of Sochi.

The summer season will begin at the Rosa Khutor resort on April 29th and will traditionally last until the beginning of November.
