Over 140,000 khachapuris were eaten in Sochi during the New Year holidays

450 thousand servings of tea and 480 thousand of mulled wine were drunk. During the New Year holidays, the city was visited by more than 190 thousand guests.

"Over 9 holidays, about 67,000 people took in the accommodation facilities of the mountain cluster, 65.5 thousand one-day tourists visited ski resorts. The peak load here fell on the period from January 2 to 5 - more than 80%. stars, about 90 percent," the Sochi administration said.

In total, more than 80 cultural and entertainment events took place at the ski resorts with music, dancing and, of course, congratulations from Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. The most popular places to visit in the city were the Riviera and Arboretum parks, the Skypark, the Aviary Complex of the Caucasian Reserve.
