The press service of the Kaliningrad Region government announced plans to create national routes, referring to the region's Minister of Culture and Tourism Andrey Yermak. Two new routes will be submitted for national certification this year. One of them is related to hiking tourism, the other to gastronomic tourism.

In addition, in 2025, it is planned to receive national status for two more tourist routes: along the Gothic Ring and the river trip "From Bay to Bay". A charter fleet and ships are currently being formed for the second route, which will carry passengers.

The message notes that the region already has experience in implementing the national tourist route "Dream Journeys in the Kaliningrad Region." This project is adapted for people with disabilities and includes iconic sights of the Kaliningrad Region with an accessible environment. It has over twenty objects of show and visit. A transformer bus was specially developed and designed for this route, which is equipped with an electric lift platform.

Overall, the Kaliningrad Region is actively developing its tourism potential and creating new products for tourists. The creation of national tourist routes is one of the ways to achieve this goal. National routes are distinguished by a high level of service and a wide range of opportunities for recreation and familiarization with the region's unique culture and nature.
