In September, Norilsk Nickel volunteers offered their help to the Oksky State Reserve. Due to the difficult epidemiological situation, many group activities were canceled, and mainly individuals came to help the reserve.

Volunteers from Norilsk Nickel used charitable certificates of 2019 to help the reserve: they purchased materials for painting the hedges of the Nursery of thoroughbred Caucasian bison, bought garden wheelbarrows for transporting materials and feed to the Nursery; materials for arranging an ecological path in a swamp - impregnation for wood, axes, a hacksaw etc. Thus, the planned work will be carried out by the staff of the reserve.

The COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions imposed in connection with it have greatly affected the volunteer work in the reserve. Group activities were banned and many assistants were unable to attend.

In recent years, the volunteer movement in the Oksky Nature Reserve has acquired new shapes. Volunteer camps and corporate volunteering were added to the main type of volunteer activity - individual participation.

Groups of young naturalists, students and individual organizations come from Ryazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg. They assist in the arrangement of the Central Estate, in nurseries, clean the banks of the Pra River from household waste left by vacationers, participate in fire-prevention activities.
