This is what we need to understand, find, pull out," Dmitry Zhdan, a member of the Council of the Russian Geographical Society in YANAO, said at the seminar.
Creating a brand takes from six months to a year. There is a huge amount of work to be done - it is connected with conducting various studies, questionnaires and seminars, said Elena Litvinova, a Moscow marketer, in turn. She expressed her conviction that the promotion of tourist routes in the Arctic requires support at the federal level.
"As soon as I entered the city, I probably got into some kind of Christmas mess. The association with the city came out immediately that it was some kind of Christmas tree, dressed up in garlands. We are looking for uniqueness, groping for its identity, then we collect it into a product and then we instill this brand in people's perception," Litvinova said.
