The press service of the enterprise reported that the Amber Combine of the State Corporation Rostec intends to launch new tourist routes for guests and residents of the Kaliningrad region. This plant is the only enterprise in the world for the industrial production of amber.

As expected, tourists will be able to visit the observation deck of the Primorskoye deposit, descend into the quarry to a depth of about 50 meters, and also independently assemble a product from the Baltic gem at the plant's jewelry production.

Visitors to the plant will be able to get acquainted with the production processes and stages of processing amber. At the moment, projects of two new unique routes have been developed.

"The new routes will start working in test mode in July 2023. They can be passed in small groups. The final preparations for the launch of excursions are now underway: costs are being estimated to determine the cost of visiting, the procedure for ordering such excursions and the allowable number of guests at a time," the message says.

Until recently, guests of the Amber Plant could visit only two tourist sites: the observation deck of the Primorsky Quarry and the exhibition space "Amber Chamber", representing the history of the Baltic gem.
