The head of the KBR, Kazbek Kokov, in his telegram channel said that the authorities of the region, together with the Caucasus.RF, continue to work on creating a modern all-season resort on Elbrus.

"The tourist infrastructure on Elbrus will be replenished with 8 new slopes and 2 cable cars. We plan to launch them in the new year. Now there are three cable cars and six ski slopes on the mountain. This is clearly not enough - there are many more guests," Kokov said.

At present, the construction of a three-level car parking for 800 places is being completed. From the parking lot to the Azau Polyana, free shuttles will run, which have places for luggage and ski equipment. A first-aid post and a catering point will appear in the parking lot.
