In 2024, new ecological trails will be improved in the Chelyabinsk region. Walking routes will appear on the territory of three natural monuments - near the Yuryuzan River, Gorky Lake and Simsky Pond. This was announced by the official tourism portal of the region.

The creation of trails will streamline the tourist flow and reduce the burden on protected water bodies.

"According to Sergey Likhachev, the Minister of Ecology of the Chelyabinsk Region, the trails will help preserve the soil layer and rare plants from damage, at the same time providing tourists with the opportunity to admire the natural beauty," the message says.
