The amount of resort fee payments in Kislovodsk from January to May of this year amounted to about 98 million rubles, which is 14.6 million rubles higher than the planned indicators. In May alone, the amount of the resort fee in the city turned out to be 18% more than expected. This was reported by the resort administration on its website.

"The demand for staying in Kislovodsk is growing rapidly every month. That is why each subsequent month we have new records for tourist indicators. We have exceeded the planned indicators for the collection of the resort fee both for May and for all 5 months of this year. The resort fee for a tourist city is an important tool that helps us make Kislovodsk even more comfortable for living, working and relaxing. Thus, our city is becoming an increasingly attractive place for tourism," - the words of the head of Kislovodsk Yevgeny Moiseev are quoted in the message.

He noted that the entire amount of the collected resort fee will be directed to new projects for the improvement of the city.

Since 2018, Kislovodsk has been one of the resort cities where a resort fee is levied when staying in hotels and other accommodation facilities. Its size is 100 rubles per day per tourist.
