The official portal of the Mayor of Moscow announced the start of voting for the best tourist routes as part of the city-wide contest "Show Moscow!". You can cast your vote on the portal of the Active Citizen project from 5 to 30 June.
This year the routes are dedicated to five themes - history, science, sports, ecology and river walks.
"In the course of the voting, 17 winners will be determined: 10 of them will be chosen by the jury, seven more by "active citizens". The results will be summed up in July on the official website of the competition, and the best routes will be published in Russpass Mag magazine https://mag.russpass.ru , the message says.
Among the finalist routes are a walk through the noble estates in the TiNAO, a trip through the Mitino landscape park, a gastronomic tour of the center of Moscow and routes for riding a bicycle or scooter.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
