The Motostolica festival will take place in St. Petersburg from July 12 to 14. The event is expected to attract a large number of tourists to the city, including families, as it is geared towards a wide range of ages. The main venue for the event will be the space near the "My Petersburg" exhibition and the SKA Arena. This was reported by the official tourist portal Visit Petersburg.
The festival will present various aspects of passion for technical types of active recreation - competitions and test drives, a historical rally and an exhibition of vintage motorcycles, stunt performances, exhibitions of motor and auto technology.An interactive program for children and adults, as well as performances by musical groups, are also planned.
According to the portal, the program also includes a power show, a motorcycle parade through the city center, a performance by a show ballet, equilibrists and an illusionist, the "Russian Hundred" races and much more.
The festival is organized by the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg.
"Event tourism is actively developing in St. Petersburg and is one of the main reasons for visiting our city. The number of events attracting tourists to the Northern capital has been constantly growing in recent years. According to the "Tour Barometer", the average annual growth in the number of events in the event calendar in 2021-2023 amounted to 30%", - notes Visit Petersburg.
