The fifth anniversary International Travel Forum "Travel!" is set to take place at VDNKh in Moscow from June 10 to 15, 2025. This key event in the tourism and hospitality sector is organized by the Roscongress Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, with support from the Government of the Russian Federation and the Moscow City Tourism Committee.

The forum is a crucial initiative within Russia's National Project "Tourism and Hospitality," extended until 2030, which aims to make travel across Russia more accessible, safer, and more comfortable. A primary goal of the national project is to boost the tourism sector's contribution to the country's economy and increase tourist trips to 140 million by 2030.

The "Travel!" forum serves as a global communication platform, bringing together government officials, tourism businesses, and leading experts to discuss current issues in state policy and the investment climate within tourism.

The event is divided into two main parts: a business program and a tourism festival. The business program runs for three days, from June 10 to 12, including events dedicated to youth programs on June 12. The tourism festival will be open for six days, from June 10 to 15. Organizers anticipate 4,000 participants for the business program and approximately 400,000 festival visitors.

A highlight of the forum will be the plenary session, "Discovering Russia: How Travel Changes the Country," scheduled for June 10. It will feature Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The business program includes around 55 events with over 250 speakers. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including large-scale initiatives, hospitality solutions, hotel classification, digital platforms, human resources strategies, industrial tourism, ski resorts, rural areas, the Arctic, excursion activities, and issues of inclusion, youth routes, patriotic tourism, and religious pilgrimage.

The exhibition area for the "Travel!" forum will span over three thousand square meters, featuring about 100 stands. Eighty-five regions of the Russian Federation and eight foreign countries have confirmed their participation. The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is the "Partner Country," Malaysia is the "Festival Partner," the Sultanate of Oman is the "Cultural Program Partner," and Mongolia, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of Cuba, and the Republic of Belarus will also be present.

Russian regions will be showcased in the "Travel Across Russia!" territorial block within the festival exposition, grouped into 13 macro-territories. Special attention will be given to two popular tourist routes: "The Golden Ring of Russia" and "The Silver Necklace of Russia."

The tourism festival will offer an exhibition, cultural events, and sports activities for all guests. Visitors can get advice on travel within Russia and abroad across 11 popular types of tourism and even purchase discounted travel services. A mobile festival guide will help attendees navigate the offerings and find points of interest.
