Moscow's "Theatrical Boulevard" Festival Extended Until the End of August

The official website of the Moscow Mayor has announced that due to popular demand, the "Theatrical Boulevard" festival will be extended until the end of August. Since its launch on July 15, the festival has attracted over half a million visitors.The event aims to introduce city residents to the diverse world of theater.

Festival venues are located on the Boulevard Ring, each dedicated to a specific theme: operetta, circus, immersive and musical theater, costume design, and stage design. The main stage is situated on Pokrovsky Boulevard, where open rehearsals, masterclasses, and full-length performances take place.

Until August 31, the festival will be held at its most popular venues from Friday to Sunday. Residents and visitors can expect performances, experiments, plays, workshops, and exhibitions.

Independent troupes and legendary theaters such as Sovremennik, Theater on Bronnaya, Lenkom, Peter Fomenko's Workshop, Mossovet, Oleg Tabakov Theater, Moscow Academic Music Theater, Durov's Dog Theater, Kuklachev's Cat Theater, Theater at Nikitsky Gates, and Theater on Malaya Ordynka have already presented their shows on improvised stages and directly in pedestrian zones. Over a thousand renowned and emerging artists have performed for Moscow residents and guests as part of the festival.

Audiences can not only watch the performances but also participate in them: more than three thousand people have had the opportunity to try their hand at acting. They took part in over 70 productions.
