Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko chaired a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the 5th "Travel!" International Tourism Forum, which will take place at Moscow's VDNH exhibition center from June 10th to 15th.

Chernyshenko stated that the forum will be a highlight of the summer and will cater to a wide range of visitors. The program will reflect events dedicated to the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II. The forum will showcase opportunities for children's, youth, and family recreation, as well as entertainment and leisure activities. Sports competitions and performances by creative groups are planned. Russian manufacturers will have the chance to present their products.

The Deputy Prime Minister announced that travelers and bloggers will be invited to the forum. This year, "Travel!" is acquiring international status. Special attention will be paid to the industry forum, featuring the tourism potential of Russian regions and new routes, as well as the presentation of products from Russian manufacturers.

Anton Kobyakov, the executive secretary of the organizing committee, noted the growing popularity of the forum, which was visited by over half a million people in 2024. The festival and exhibition will be open from June 10th to 15th on the main avenues of VDNH. Eleven types of tourism will be represented, grouped into thematic "islands": "Act!", "Relax!", and "Discover!". The main parts of the exhibition will be the "continents" "Travel Across Russia!" (with the participation of 89 regions) and "Travel the World!" (with participants including Venezuela, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, and Mongolia). A concept for a collective stand of African countries is being developed. An "Develop!" island will be organized for businesses, featuring Russian manufacturers.

The forum's business program will run from June 10th to 12th and will include over 30 sessions across five key tracks: infrastructure and investment, international cooperation, regional development, personnel training, import substitution, and equipment. International meetings and business dialogues are planned. The plenary session will focus on the impact of tourism on the development of related industries.

The "Travel!" Forum, with the motto "Discover Russia," will serve as a platform for showcasing the country's tourism potential and fostering international cooperation.
