The winners of the all-Russian video contest "Russia Through Your Eyes" were announced in Moscow on World Tourism Day.
"The special value of this contest for us is that it provides a kind of feedback from citizens of our vast country. This way, we learn about the unique places and attractions that are dear to the hearts of Russians. As a result, we can identify and further develop promising tourist routes based on the real opinions of our fellow citizens," said Pavel Smelov, Director General of the Center for Strategic Development Foundation, as quoted in a press release from the contest organizers.
3,870 video works from representatives of 20 countries participated in the selection, including Russia, India, Argentina, Iran, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and CIS countries.
