More than one billion rubles will be allocated to the development of Sochi

"The economy of Sochi is developing, the resort industry is expanding, and the tourist flow is increasing after it. In turn, economic activity provides an influx of additional funds to the municipal budget. Thanks to this, the revenue part of the Sochi city budget has been increased by 1.049 billion rubles. These funds will be used to resolve issues that excite our citizens and lead to an improvement in the quality of life,” said Svetlana Kalinina, Deputy Head of Sochi.

More than 300 million rubles of additional funds received by the budget were directed to create a comfortable urban environment in the city. Work is planned to improve the embankment of the Psezuapse River in the Lazarevsky District, renovate paving slabs and repair sidewalks in all four inner-city districts of the city. Another 186 million rubles are provided for the arrangement of children's sports grounds in Sochi. Budget expenditures have been increased by more than 190 million rubles in order to purchase apartments for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing.
