In September, Sochi received 700 thousand tourists. In the first month of autumn, the tourist flow turned out to be higher than forecasted. The city's sanatoriums are now loaded on average by 84%.

«Rooms at the official accommodation facilities have been booked for the next three months. All the main accommodation facilities, tourist displays continue to work, and excursion activities are also being implemented,» said the Mayor of Sochi.

In general, in 2021, 5.7 million tourists have already rested at the resort. The numbers exceed the pre-pandemic 2019 record for Sochi. At the end of the year, the Sochi authorities are counting on a tourist flow of 6.8 million people.
