More than four million people have crossed the Russian border with Abkhazia in Sochi

Since the beginning of summer, about one million vehicles have passed through the checkpoint in Adler, including 31,000 sightseeing buses. More than 10,000 vehicles pass inspection daily.

"The load on the checkpoint exceeds the capacity by six times. Currently, more than 11,000 vehicles and 64,000 people cross the border on weekends per day, which is about 10% more than in August last year," the press service of the Krasnodar customs reported.

In total, since the beginning of 2022, about seven million citizens and 1.6 million vehicles have crossed the Russian-Abkhaz border.
