The Ministry of Agriculture in its Telegram channel announced that it had chosen the recipients of Agrotourism grants for the next year.
As part of the competition, the agency received 223 applications from 63 regions.
“73 projects from 50 regions became the winners. They will receive grants of up to 10 million rubles, which will help farmers to improve the territory, create conditions for guests to live and buy the necessary equipment. Funds can be directed to other purposes," the ministry said in a statement.
Among these goals are also the construction or modernization of accommodation facilities, entertainment infrastructure, the purchase of tourist equipment or specialized transport, the creation and arrangement of recreation areas and parking lots, the laying of sidewalks and bicycle paths, the restoration of historical and cultural monuments.
“Most of the winning projects relate to the areas of animal husbandry and processing, fish farming, cheese making, winemaking, beekeeping and fruit growing. With the help of state support, entrepreneurs will be able to expand their business and receive additional income,” the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
The department also spoke about some of the projects that are being implemented by grant recipients.
In particular, this is a sturgeon farm, which is the only producer of black caviar in the Perm region. There you can go fishing, follow the life of sturgeon and taste the local delicacy. The grant will help build a large guest house to accommodate tourists.
Among the grantees there is also a farm from the Kursk region - a cheese producer "Malevich". Glamping will appear on the territory of the dairy farm - small chalets in the fresh air. The grant also won the country's largest producer of maple syrup from the Penza region. He plans to build a "maple tree house" to accommodate guests.
The total amount of federal funding for grant support for projects in the field of agritourism for the next year will amount to 500 million rubles.
