The success of the ferry line connecting the Montenegrin resort of Budva with the Croatian city of Dubrovnik during the past summer season has inspired the Montenegrin Minister of Maritime Affairs.

"This line, which significantly contributes to the expansion of our tourism product, not only facilitates communication between the two cities but also helps to reduce congestion and improve the transport infrastructure and quality of life for both citizens and tourists," stated the Montenegrin Minister of Maritime Affairs, Filip Radulović.

The Minister also announced plans to connect other coastal resorts in Montenegro with Dubrovnik. Filip Radulović is confident that new ferry lines between Montenegro and tourist destinations in neighboring countries are essential for both the development of tourism and the improvement of public transport.

Ferry services relieve land transport routes, accelerating communication between different points and eliminating traffic jams, thereby contributing to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. The Montenegrin Ministry of Maritime Affairs will continue to invest in the development of maritime shipping and the expansion of the tourism sector, Radulović asserts.
