It existed from 1902 to 1922. There was a wooden church, two-story abbot and fraternal buildings, as well as buildings for domestic purposes. There was also an orchard. 110 monks lived in the Holy Trinity Monastery. In 1922 it was closed, then completely destroyed. This August, the transfer of the land plot of the Sochi Diocese to the Russian Orthodox Church took place.
«For many years people came here, lit candles, prayed and wanted the shrine to return to its destination. Here we will have the Trinity-Transfiguration Monastery. We will restore it with the whole world to pray for our land, for the people who live here and come here,» said His Grace Bishop German of Sochi and Tuapse.
There are plans to revive not only the monastery itself, but also to improve the territory, restore gardens and vineyards and build a road to it.
