Frenchman Serge Colliou set up a guest house in a World War II bunker on the North Sea coast.

The bunker, half-buried in the sand dunes in the town of Saint-Pabu in French Brittany, was erected by the Germans as a long-term firing point.

Completely renovated in 18 months, the underground space with an area of 400 sq m now houses a cozy living room, a dining room with a bar and sleeping places.

The military purpose of the bunker is recalled by the caps and helmets of Wehrmacht officers and soldiers displayed in its compartments, as well as reproductions of German weapons from the Second World War.
