The development of medical infrastructure is planned in the North Caucasus. This primarily concerns the sanatorium and resort sphere. The corresponding agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by the General Director of Kavkaz.RF Andrey Yumsanov and the Acting General Director of the Medscan group of companies Timur Mubarakshin.

"Recently, such a type of tourism as medical tourism has become very popular among the inhabitants of our country, therefore we will actively develop this promising segment of the tourism industry," Yumsanov's words are quoted in the message on the Kavkaz.RF website.

As the head of the company noted, the North Caucasus is associated with longevity, and there are great opportunities for the development of medical and rehabilitation infrastructure here.

According to Yumsanov, the companies will be able to "open up new tourist opportunities for the region and create centers where everyone can receive high-tech treatment and have a comfortable rest."

As reported by Kavkaz.RF, the parties plan to pay special attention to the implementation of inclusive practices in rehabilitation programs.

"Joint projects of companies will allow not only to make sanatorium and resort services more comfortable and accessible, but also to create new jobs in the region, which will have a positive effect on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus," the message says.
