From August 31 to September 1, the XIV Oranienbaum Marine Festival will be held in the coastal area of Lomonosov, in the waters of the Neva Bay between Oranienbaum and Kronstadt. This event features the largest amateur regatta in Northwest Russia, the "Orange Race" 2024.

As reported by the tourist portal VisitPetersburg, "At the end of summer, Lomonosov will host a parade of sails, with dozens of yachts of various types and categories filling the maritime horizon. Sailors will compete in the largest amateur race for prizes from the Oranienbaum Society of Sailing Enthusiasts, marking the 150th anniversary of the naval striped shirt in the Russian fleet."

Two stages will feature concerts by artists from St. Petersburg, performances by DJs and bards. The headliner for the evening will be the band "Oldies But Goldies," led by sailor and musician Vladimir Loginov.

As part of the celebration, a three-day bard song festival, "Strings of Forts," will take place on the beach "Yantar" near the sandy embankment. Guests will also engage in strength exercises and games at the sports area. The festival will include masterclasses on creating marine souvenirs and lectures on healthy living and sports, as well as interactive zones for children.

The festival's program will feature paddleboard races and a demonstration by the legendary A-3 airboat from the Tupolev Design Bureau, restored by the Volokoslavsky aviation family.
