VII International Vladivostok Marathon will be held on September 30th. Registration for this large-scale sporting event has already begun.
“The route of the marathon runs along a picturesque route, which gives a lot of impressions. Bridges on about. Russian and through the Golden Horn Bay - these sights of the city of Vladivostok have already become symbols of the Far Eastern capital, professional athletes and just joggers from all over Russia and other countries come to run along them, ”the official tourist portal of Primorsky Krai said.
There are four distances to choose from depending on the goals and preparation - 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km or 42.2 km. For the youngest athletes, a 1 km race will be organized. This year's innovation is the team relay race for a marathon distance - 42.2 km.
As the portal notes, this marathon is the only one in the Far East that has AIMS certification (Association of International Marathons and Runs). This entitles professional athletes to the official recognition of their world records, and to all participants - the confidence that the race is organized with high quality, in accordance with the requirements of the international running community.
The winners of all distances will share the total prize fund of 1 million rubles, and the best in the marathon distance will also receive flagship smartphones.
The Bridges of Vladivostok marathon is held by the RunDnsRun running club, which invites everyone to start preparing for the competition. To do this, you can join the club's free weekly runs, which take place every Saturday along the picturesque routes of Vladivostok and Russky Island.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
