Now it is planned to expand the museum, which will allow the legendary masterpiece of Leonardo da Vinci "Mona Lisa" to be moved to a separate hall.
The reconstruction of the Louvre is expected to take up to ten years. The project is called "Louvre: A New Renaissance". As part of it, in particular, it is planned to create a new entrance to the museum from the Seine River. According to the President of France, it may be opened by 2031.
