A remarkable natural phenomenon has occurred on the Kuril Islands: a new crater has formed on the Ebeko volcano, from which a new eruption has begun.
Tourists who happened to be nearby witnessed a breathtaking spectacle: two craters of the volcano simultaneously spewed columns of ash hundreds of meters into the air. Such an occurrence is a rare opportunity to observe the power of nature in action.
"It was incredible! We felt like we were at the forefront of a natural spectacle," shared one of the tourists.
Scientists note that the appearance of a new crater on Ebeko is a result of active volcanic processes occurring deep within the Earth. Such an event allows for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of volcanic activity and the prediction of future eruptions.
It is important to note that observing a volcanic eruption should be done from a safe distance. Although the tourists who captured this event on video were not in danger, such phenomena can be unpredictable.
