“On July 30, 2022, a real “light country” will be erected on the beach of the park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg with many interactive zones, aerial installations, a large photo zone, air-figures, and, of course, giant kites in the sky,” it says. in the press release of the organizers of the festival.

The event will include an amateur kite flying championship, a charity projects fair, open yoga training, sports games, competitions from well-known communities of the city, creative master classes, and workshops.

The festival will also feature an open lecture hall in the concept of "We speak easily on complex topics" with local experts, a stage with light music, the largest children's sandbox in the city, a zone from the city's eco-communities.

For the first time, the kite festival “It's easy to fly!” (“EASY FEST”) was held on the beach of the Peter and Paul Fortress and gathered about two thousand guests. In 2013, he moved to a permanent site - the beach of the park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. For 10 years, the festival has expanded its audience to 10,000 visitors annually, the organizers say.
