The festival "Sky in the palm of your hand" will be held in Arseniev (Primorsky Territory) on May 28. It will be of interest to everyone "who selflessly loves the sky, airplanes, excitement, the beauty of flight," the Tourist Information Center of the region said on its website.
“The program of the festival will be interesting for both children and adults. As expected, the festival will open with a festive procession. Bikers will start the event. And then the participants of the holiday will march through the stadium, and hang gliders will fly over the stadium,” the report says.
In addition, demonstration performances of paratroopers are planned, which will show their skills while jumping with flags.
“There will be a launch of 20-meter kites, they are considered the largest in the region. These "air dragons"
participated in demonstration performances in China and Thailand,” the information center noted.
At master classes within the framework of the festival, everyone will be taught how to create kites and aircraft that will be launched into the air.
There are also plans to take to the skies in hot air balloons.
“It will be a real romantic trip, albeit a short one, at the end of the day,” the message says.
The program also includes excursions, a demonstration of controlled models, various competitions and activities.
The initiator of the holiday was the Far Eastern Aviation Museum.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
