Rostourism has launched a new stage of the cashback program for tourist trips around the country. It is possible to buy tours until April 12, and go on a trip until April 30 inclusive. In accordance with the conditions, the duration of the trip with hotel accommodation must be at least two nights. The refund amount is 20% of the cost of the trip. Cashback is credited only when paying with a Mir card.

«All Russian regions take part in the program. More than two million interesting offers have been prepared for tourists. This figure is half a million more than last year,» said the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova.

Tour operators expect an increase in demand due to the fact that the fifth stage of the tourist cashback promotion will affect the holidays - February 23 and March 8.

The state program to support domestic tourism with a partial refund was launched in our country in 2020 to support the sector during the pandemic. Since that time, four stages have already been implemented. According to experts, the program helped to restore domestic tourism. Since the beginning of 2021, almost 1.7 million Russians have taken advantage of the promotion. In total, citizens purchased tours and hotel accommodation for 34 billion rubles. The cache buffer from this amount amounted to 6.7 billion rubles.
