During the Eastern Economic Forum, the Interros holding company presented two significant development projects in the fields of tourism and business climate development in the Far East. The company is a key investor in the international-level tourist cluster "Park Three Volcanoes." This is one of the largest tourism projects in Russia and the most extensive in Kamchatka. The cluster encompasses mountain, skiing, balneological, cruise, and expedition tourism. The total investment for creating the cluster is about 70 billion rubles, and it is being built as part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" with the support of the Tourism.RF corporation.
Another island territory set for extensive construction is Russky Island in Vladivostok. Here, a Class A business center will be established rather than a tourist complex. However, it is expected to enhance the region's tourist appeal as, in addition to office spaces and an IT park, a modern public area will be created for residents and visitors.
Interros held a competition among leading architectural firms in the country, chaired by Alexey Chekunkov, the Minister of the Russian Federation for Development of the Far East and Arctic. The concept submitted by ABD Architects won the competition. The first phase of construction has already begun, with funding planned to reach up to 4.6 billion rubles. TKS Holding is a co-investor in the project, which is supported by the Corporation for Development of the Far East and Arctic.
"In all of Interros's development projects, there is a special approach to preserving the natural balance and energy efficiency. This is why the business center project on Russky Island has specific requirements, including energy efficiency and harmonious integration of the building into the island's landscape," the company stated.
The investor intends to pay special attention to ecology during construction. The building will cover an area of 13,100 square meters. The business center, equipped with cutting-edge technology, will house laboratories, conference rooms, and coworking spaces. It is expected to not only attract new residents but also serve as a symbol of the transformations taking place in the country, particularly in the Far East and on Russky Island.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
The forum, which brought together experts from a wide range of industries, hosted approximately 50 business events across three thematic areas: economics and investment, architecture and integrated territorial development, and tourism and hospitality.
