International competition of young performers "New Wave" kick-started in Sochi

They came to Sochi from Australia, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan and Russia. Our country will be represented by three participants - MAX BOX, Seville and the group «GRINKEVICH». This year, the participants will perform an author's song, a famous world hit, as well as a hit of their country.

The "New Wave" in Sochi will run from 19 to 25 August. The festival of music starts on the Black Sea coast with a traditional gala concert. Dima Bilan's creative evening is planned on August 20, and Alexander Rosenbaum's anniversary creative evening with the participation of pop music stars, chanson, classical music and cinema is planned. The program of the competition will be continued by a concert of the jury members (August 22) and a concert in honor of Nikolai Baskov's anniversary (August 23). August 24 - the evening of hot premieres from the brightest stars and the third day of the competition. August 25 - the closing ceremony of the competition, which will announce the winners of the "New Wave-2021", and a large gala concert.
