Indonesia removes all testing on arrival and opens more airports. A PCR test is no longer required after arrival as well as more airports have opened up for Visa-on-Arrival (VOA). These measures remove the last COVID-19 related obstacles to travelling to Indonesia.
The following requirements and procedures apply:
Depending on the nationality, visitors must present a B211A visa approval letter or request a VOA. An update on the VOA can be found below;
Physical or digital evidence in English that shows the visitor is fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure.
Upon arrival, no further PCR testing or quarantine is necessary if the body temperature is below 37.5 degrees Celsius. The visitor can enjoy travelling throughout Indonesia after passing through immigration and luggage collection;
A 2nd PCR Test is ONLY necessary if the temperature of the visitor is above 37.5 degrees Celsius.
After a successful trial of the VOA at Bali Airport, Indonesia has additionally opened the international airports of Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Manado, and Yogyakarta for VOA.
