How much are European countries dependent on tourism

The German company Statista, specializing in market and consumer data, revealed which of the European countries were most dependent on tourism in 2023. 

According to the data released by the company, Croatia took the first place in this ranking, with the share of the tourism industry in the country's GDP reaching 25.8%. 

This indicator is followed by Spain (14.5%), Greece (13%), Germany (11%), Italy (10.5%), Great Britain and France (8.8%), Ireland (3.8%).
