By 2030, a network of about 300 hotels will appear in Europe, united by one ideology - reducing consumption and recycling products.
The hotel operator Accor intends to launch a new brand of eco-hotels “greet” in order to attract customers interested in preserving the environment. The company thinks that such an initiative will help to make a real environmental and even social revolution in the field of consumption, so necessary for the humanity.
The owner of each of the hotels will be able to create their own style, however, all the hotels will be decorated with the furniture bought in second-hand stores, at garage sales or from local residents. Accor will also partner with local designers and product recycling associations.
By 2030, Accor plans to create around 300 hotels united under a new brand throughout Europe.
Accor, headquartered in the Paris suburb of Evry, is one of the largest hotel operators in the world, owning 4,586 hotels, resorts and residences in 109 countries.
