Hong Kong Tourism Board to launch ‘Spend-to-Redeem’ local tours

As the Hong Kong Government gradually relaxes social distancing rules and resumes local tours, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has announced the “Spend-to-Redeem” Staycation Delights and Local Tours.

The soon to be relaunched scheme is well-received by the public. The government is providing ongoing support to the travel, hotel and retail sectors and creating business opportunities with a view to driving positive local ambience. Details will be announced in due course.

In addition, the HKTB announced that the provisional visitor arrivals for March is 1,800, a 73% decrease year on year. The first quarter of the year saw a cumulative arrival of 11,490 visitors, a 30.5% drop year on year.
