The international military-historical festival will be held on the territory of the museum-reserve "Borodino field" from 2 to 4 September.

For three days, at the foot of the Rayevsky Battery, an interactive platform will be open for guests - the historical street "1812: on a hike and in everyday life."

On September 3, at the site near the main exposition of the museum, it will be possible to visit the defile "Beauty of Past Epochs". Its participants will demonstrate historical costumes of the early 19th century to the audience. In addition, on this day, an international historical dictation on the theme of the events of the Second World War "Victory Dictation" and a rehearsal of military-historical maneuvers of the era of the Patriotic War of 1812 will take place.

On September 4, a solemn ceremony will take place with the saluting of military honors and the laying of flowers and wreaths at the Main Monument on the Raevsky Battery. Clubs of military-historical reconstruction and guests of honor of the festival will take part in it.

After that, interactive platforms for reenactors will begin their work. The elite of the Imperial Guard - Preobrazhensky and Semenovtsy - will demonstrate the setting of guards, drill exercises, as well as performances by drummers and trumpeters.

The culmination of the day will be a military-historical reenactment of an episode of the battle of Borodino with the participation of infantry, cavalry and artillery and large-scale pyrotechnic effects.
