The press service of the Governor and Government of Khabarovsk Krai has announced that two projects to develop tourist trails in the region will receive federal funding. Nearly 250 million rubles will be allocated to upgrade the "Legends of the Saven" and "Legends of Khekhcir" trails, as well as to create the necessary tourist infrastructure.

The "Legends of the Saven" trail runs through the village of Sikachi-Alyan. Here, you can find petroglyphs that are included in the UNESCO tentative list of heritage sites. They are a unique monument of ancient rock art. The trail is 5,000 meters long. Along the route, there will be art objects and themed zones related to the history and culture of the Amur River Basin peoples. A visitor center is also planned. Visitors to the trail will be able to learn about the objects of cult worship of the Nanai people, their way of life, and local fairy tales.

The "Legends of Khekhcir" route runs through the Bolshoy Khekhcir mountain range. Its length is 3,800 meters. At the highest point of the ridge, it is planned to create an observation deck, a rope town, and a zip line. The trail will also have recreational areas, installations, and art objects.

It is expected that by 2028, the number of visits to both trails combined will increase by 2.5 times and reach at least 60,000 people per year.

The message notes that in addition to federal funding, it is planned to attract funds from non-budgetary sources. By the end of the year, the region must prepare a detailed project with specified estimated parameters.
