The press service of the government of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic has announced that from June 28 to 30, the "Sounds of Elbrus" festival will take place in Prielbrusie. This is the highest mountain music festival in Russia.
Concerts will take place at heights ranging from 2350 to 3500 meters above sea level amidst the magnificent mountain peaks of the Caucasian ridge.Attendance at concerts will be free with a ticket for the Elbrus resort cable car.
Over three days, various artists will perform, including L'One, Sultan-Uragan, and the 8Bit cover group."The Music Festival 'Sounds of Elbrus' is a chance to spend the weekend in the fresh mountain air, listen to unique sounds amidst the mountains and take a walk along the ecological trails of the resort in the national park 'Prielbrusie'," according to the statement.Several thematic zones will operate on the festival grounds, where resort guests can learn about the musical traditions and national dances of Kabardino-Balkaria, try local cuisine, and participate in master classes by local craftsmen.
A children's entertainment program has been prepared for the youngest guests of the holiday.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
