Foreign films are shown with Russian subtitles.
"Today, it is more important than ever to talk about ecology not only at the level of theories but also through real stories shown by filmmakers from around the world. The ECOCUP festival provides an opportunity not only to see relevant documentaries but also to discuss them with experts and find solutions for local and global challenges. Sochi is not only a popular tourist resort with many recreational areas but also a major event platform for significant projects and events. In our city, where nature conservation is one of the key priorities, such initiatives are particularly valuable," noted Sergey Somko, Director of the Department of Resorts, Tourism, and Consumer Sphere of the Sochi City Administration.
Everyone can watch "green" cinema for free; all they need to do is register on the festival website. Screenings in Sochi will conclude on May 18th.
