The "Grand Christmas Festivities" festival will take place in the authentic historic village of Lozgolovo, Leningrad Region, on January 11, 2025. The event is designed for a wide audience, including families with children and young people. Guests will enjoy concerts focused on Christmas traditions and guided tours around the ancient village of Lozgolovo, which dates back to the late 15th century. This was announced by the Committee for Culture and Tourism of the region on its official website.

The "Grand Christmas Festivities" will be held as a historical reenactment, recreating the atmosphere of a village celebration from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The program includes performances by folk groups, demonstrations of Christmas traditions and rituals, village tours, and a fair showcasing traditional crafts, according to the announcement.

In the new year, 12 folk and theater groups from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region are expected to participate in the festival.
