Free Wi-Fi available on the beaches of Sochi

Wireless Internet has become available on the beach areas of the Central and Adler districts of the city.

The works were performed according to the "Smart City" standard.

“To implement the project, the operator built about 10 kilometers of fiber-optic lines, installed switching equipment and more than 500 access points to a wireless Internet access network,” said Inna Petukhova, deputy mayor of the city of Sochi.

The plans are to provide free Internet access in public places in Sochi. The planned volume of investments in 2021-2025 will amount to about 200 million rubles.
