The official website of Kamchatka has announced the launch of a free digital gastronomic guide that highlights the unique features and qualities of the local cuisine and regional delicacies.
Developed by MTS Travel in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of Kamchatka, the guide will be part of a larger tourist guide for the region, with a link sent to visitors via a welcome SMS.
Through this gastronomic guide, tourists will get acquainted with Kamchatka's specialties and learn about locally sourced products that can be taken home as souvenirs. Notable culinary souvenirs include herbal blends, salmon caviar, wild berry marmalade, volcanic jam, wild garlic pesto, and other items that have become integral to Kamchatka's gastronomic identity.
The guide also features over 20 restaurants and cafés in the Kamchatka region, categorized into four groups: restaurants with local menus and specialties, establishments offering Pacific cuisine, restaurants with original concepts, and those specializing in international cuisine.
Additionally, the guide includes an event calendar detailing upcoming festivals and celebrations, helping tourists find the dates and locations for various events. It also provides information about select Kamchatka hotels, with convenient links to booking aggregators for room reservations.
