The Norwegian authorities have decided to lift the quarantine for foreign tourists who wish to visit this European country, according to Lenta.ru.
Starting from January 26, all tourists, including unvaccinated and without confirmation of the previous disease, will be exempted from quarantine.
According to official figures, a very small percentage of unvaccinated tourists come to Norway - 7% of the total tourist flow. They account for only four percent of all diseases in the country, so quarantine measures do not play a big role in protecting the population from coronavirus, the portal says.
At the same time, to visit this country, you still have to pass a PCR test and register on the entrynorway.no portal, as well as do an additional analysis for coronavirus upon arrival, regardless of vaccination status.
A tourist will have to stay in quarantine only if the result of the analysis is positive.
