The Serbian Association of Ploughmen is preparing to participate in the World Plowing Championship, which will be held in October in Latvia. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources volunteered to finance the participation of Serbs in these competitions, as reported by the head of the department Elena Tanaskovic. But, while the Ministry is engaged in the formalities, Serbian plowmen do not waste time in vain.

In the village of Leskovac, in the south of Serbia, a young priest, who is also the owner of the land, plowed a football field on his battered tractor. And he did it filigreed: at first he plowed the area at the gate, then outlined the stadium with a deep moat, and finally dug through the lawn where the seats for fans were located.

The actions of a plowman in a cassock caused an ambiguous reaction among the villagers: some called on him to stop spoiling the stadium, others cheerfully encouraged, and the most adventurous bet on the quality of arable land. The fact is that the day before a minor league football match was held in the village, in which a pop tractor driver took part. But shortly before the end of the game, the priest was removed from the field for unsportsmanlike behavior, which led to the defeat of the team from Leskovac.

The piquancy of the situation was given by the fact that the land on which the stadium is located belongs to the remote player. Which he took advantage of. Now the offended priest's path to the heights of football glory is ordered. However, his ploughing abilities are clearly worth attention. Especially on the eve of international plowing competitions.
