Sberbank's Manzherok resort, with the support of Tourism.RF, has launched five new cable cars equipped with comfortable gondolas. Skiers and snowboarders now have access to an additional 31 km of slopes.
As part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," Tourism.RF is providing support through co-financing and access to preferential loans for the construction of cable cars, ski slopes, and the purchase of snowmaking equipment.
The new cable cars are characterized by high speed. The cabins accommodate eight passengers and are equipped with heated seats and audio and video support, ensuring maximum comfort during the ascent to the summit.
The two stages of the cable cars, "Legend" and "Pereval," were named to further reflect the unique character of the Altai Mountains. All five cable cars include the altitude markers of the upper stations in their names, allowing for easy orientation while skiing.
Passengers remark on the breathtaking views from the "Legenda 390" cable car. It extends over Lake Manzherok, offering views of the resort.
Currently, the Manzherok resort operates 10 chairlifts, gondola lifts, and a travelator, providing access to slopes of varying difficulty levels, from green to black. This allows for skiing for both beginners and experienced skiers and snowboarders.
The Tourism.RF Corporation was created by order of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to attract investment in the construction of tourism facilities. The Corporation provides access to government support for the creation of tourism infrastructure as part of the "Tourism and Hospitality" national project. Projects within the current Tourism.RF investment portfolio, totaling 890 billion rubles, are ongoing. Today, with the Corporation's support, 38 projects are being implemented with 33,900 rooms in 31 regions of the country, and five infrastructure facilities with a total capacity of more than 1,300 modern hotel rooms have already been commissioned.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
