"Feast on the Volga" to be Held in Yaroslavl

The "Feast on the Volga" picnic will take place on August 24-25 in Yaroslavl on the Strelka. The organizers of the festival have prepared all sorts of activities and entertainment for guests. This was reported by the Ministry of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region on its website.

In particular, as part of the holiday, a cheese festival will be held, where guests will be offered lectures on tasty and healthy food, tastings and a cheese sommelier, a school for young pizzaiolos, cheese bowling, and cheese twister. In addition, a large Yaroslavl dinner, afternoon tea and dinner with millionaire food bloggers, breakfasts on the grass and on a yacht, as well as cuisine from different regions and farm products are planned.

"For lovers of sports and a healthy lifestyle, lectures by leading nutritionists, a marathon of workouts from sports clubs,croquet, petanque, cornhole, chess, and more will be organized. There will be master classes in curling, frisbee, and volleyball, demonstration performances of kudo and gymnasts on rings, jumping and cycling workouts, wooden craft games for children from 0 to 100 years old, and a Yaroslavl ringo tournament," the Ministry of Tourism said.

The picnic will also feature youth interactive platforms, tea ceremonies, VR games, art objects, and installations. Festival guests will be able to attend lectures, participate in charitable, cultural, and environmental projects.

The department noted that such festivals contribute to the development of domestic tourism and strengthen Yaroslavl's image as an attractive tourist destination.
