The press service of the Moscow Zoo announced the birth of a deer in the Zoo in the estate of Father Frost. This is the first fawn to a pair of sika deer who came to the zoo two years ago from the Kaluga region.
The little female was born healthy and immediately got up on her feet. The deer is already showing activity and interest in employees. At the same time, the fawn is constantly under the supervision of her parents and does not move far from them.
In the zoo, ungulates are fed oats, deer food, hay, grass meal, willow brooms and fodder chalk.
