The Roscongress Foundation press service announced that the All-Russian Tourism Forum "Discover the Far East" will be held in Khabarovsk from September 18 to 22. This year, it will be attended by industry representatives not only from Russia but also from China, Belarus, Vietnam, and Mongolia.
Representatives of government bodies, tourism and hospitality businesses, associations, and public organizations in the tourism sector, as well as investors can participate in the forum. It is expected that the discussion of issues related to the development of tourism and the hospitality industry will be built in the format of networking and live discussions.
"A special focus within the business program will be placed on the 30th anniversary of the Russian Union of the Travel Industry and the development of international tourism. Given Khabarovsk's geographical location, the forum will focus on expanding Russian-Chinese tourism ties," the message says.In addition to the business program, participants of the forum will also have a rich cultural program. Its key event will be the gastronomic festival "GastroHab".
10 chefs from all over Russia will treat visitors to their signature dishes and conduct culinary master classes, while representatives of the regions will be able to tell about their tourist attractions and gastronomic "magnets".
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
