Europeans are increasingly choosing Vietnam as a priority tourist destination. According to the National Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the influx of travelers from Europe occurred during the peak tourist season in Vietnam - from October to March.

A noticeable increase in arrivals of Europeans to the country was observed in October. Compared to the previous month, the flow of tourists to Vietnam from Russia increased by 81.5%, Italy – by 54.5%, France – by 30.5%, Sweden – by 24.9%, Germany – by 23.6%, Spain – by 23.3%, Denmark – by 21.7%, Great Britain – by 20.4%, Norway – by 16.2%.

The Vietnamese authorities partially explain the increase in arrivals of travelers from Europe by the unilateral policy of visa-free entry into the country for up to 45 days, introduced on August 15, 2023.
